Depending on what you need I work to help you achieve emotional stability through talk-therapy, strength building, breathing exercises and meditation techniques.  As part of this, we will explore practical things that help you function better at work, with family, friends and in your community.  If developing a support system is important, we work on it.  If creating meaningful routines and rituals are important, we create those.  Along the way we may run into challenging, emotions, thoughts and beliefs.  When these challenges arise, we will discuss and explore them.  Sometimes we will sit down and talk them through and other times we will take a more experiential approach by working with the mind-body system (meditation, deep breathing, movement).  I’ll help you explore notions of self-compassion and self-efficacy which may extend to compassion for others.  You will always have a say in what we do.  I count on your input to guide me.  If you develop a curiosity about your inner world I am here to partner with you to explore those parts of yourself.  I use guided mind-body approaches to work on self-identified themes, in-the-moment emotions, thoughts and core beliefs.
